V soboto bo v Portu odigran finale lige prvakov, pomerila se bosta angleška kluba Manchester City in Chelsea. Prvotno bi moral biti finale odigran v Istanbulu, a so ga zaradi epidemije koronavirusa v Turčiji prestavili na Portugalsko. Ta je bolj dostopna tudi angleškim navijačem, ki pa so v mestu že povzročili težave.
Po velikih problemih, ki jih je imela Anglija zaradi nogometnih huliganov v preteklosti, so na Otoku s strogimi kaznimi skoraj popolnoma odpravili navijaško nasilje, a si zato nekateri pripadniki klubov znajo toliko več privoščiti ob igranju svojih moštev zunaj domovine. Tako je bilo tudi tokrat v Portu.
Pri Uefi so obema kluboma dodelili 5.800 vstopnic, nekateri navijači pa so na Portugalsko prišli že nekaj dni pred finalom. V noči s četrtka na petek so se pričeli prvi spopadi, ki so jih domačini lahko spremljali le z začudenjem, policija pa je večkrat morala posredovati.
