Luka Dončić je imel novo nepozabno noč, ko je v "bitki za Teksas" s svojimi Dallas Mavericks razbil ekipo Houston Rockets s 137:123 ter naravnost ponižal dva izmed zadnjih treh MVP-jev lige.
Dončić je tekmo zaključil z 41 točkami, 6 skoki in 10 asistencami ter si prislužil ovacije s stribun, Dallasovi navijači pa so ga z igrišča pospremili celo z vzkliki: "MVP!"
Izjemna predstava mladega Slovenca, ki ruši meje in podira rekorde, pa je preprosto zažgala splet, kjer so množice prav tekmovale, kdo se bo prej priklonil Luki.
Dončić je med drugim navdušil tudi izjemna nogometna brata, Tonija in Felixa Kroosa, ki sta mnenja, da si Dončić za svoje predstave zasluži naziv MVP.
