Britanski plavalni zvezdnik Adam Peaty je na svetovnem prvenstvu v Gwangjuju v Južni Koreji z dosežkom 56,88 sekunde dosegel nov rekord na 100 m prsno.
V polfinalu je lasten rekord z lanskega evropskega prvenstva v Glasgowu popravil za 22 stotink sekunde in kot prvi človek to razdaljo zmogel v manj kot 57 sekundah.
